What a commission usually costs, and what moves the figure
Fees are in Georgian lari and are quoted before work starts. The table below is a starting map, not a promise that every log fits the lowest line. A single temperature channel for a fortnight is lighter work than six vibration pens across a wet season.
What moves a quote
- Number of channels and whether they must be paired on one figure.
- Length of the series and how dirty the file is (duplicate rows, mixed units, missing stamps).
- Paper charts that must be transcribed before drawing.
- A briefing in the room versus by telephone.
- Travel beyond Imereti for a walkthrough.
How payment runs
A deposit holds the desk’s time once you accept the quote. The balance is due when the pages are delivered, before a standing month begins if you want one. We do not take payment through this site. Bank transfer instructions go in the quote letter. Deposits, cancellations, and unfinished work are described on the refund page.
What we will not price as a package
Legal testimony, overnight watching of a live alarm, installation of probes, and translation of a reading into a language we do not write. Those, if possible at all, are separate letters.
To receive a figure for your own log, send the instruments and the dates.
